Grade 1
Reading and Writing with More Power: Snap Words, Editing, and More
This unit can be found on Heinemann-under General Information tab-titled "Mini Unit to come between Units 3 and 4: Reading and Writing with More Power: Snap Words, Editing, and More "

This mini unit provides a good deal of opportunity for revisiting sessions and extensions from the first 3 units. A first step in planning for the unit is completing the assessments that you can find in A Guide to the Phonics Units of Study  beginning on page 85. You can use the information you gain from the assessments to tailor this mini-unit to the needs of your current students. Your CTLs and coaches are available to think alongside you as you move forward with this unit.

Grade 2
