Storia

Once again, students in grades K-5 across the district will have access to Storia, both at home and in the classroom.  Storia, a subsidiary of Scholastic, provides access to thousands of quality ebooks that span topics, genres, authors and levels.

To delete your previous classroom and set-up your new classroom, please see the document below:

A few important tips about logins, passwords and class codes:

  • Each grade level is assigned a contact teacher.  To manage the class site for your students (i.e. assign ebooks, make groups, add students to the class roster), sign in under the contact teacher's email and the password: literacy1
  • Once you are at the page for your grade, go to CLASSES at the top of the page.  The drop-down window will bring you to your unique class.
  • Students in your class will need to login to www.storiaschool.com using the class code assigned.  If you change this class code, please let your literacy coach know so that we can easily distribute this update with other teachers in your building.

  • To avoid having students sign-in each time with the class code, simply sign-in with the class code once and then set up a link to the class page:

  • Storia generates individual student passwords for each child using sight words.  Passwords can be disabled in the classroom; however, they must be disabled on each device manually. Passwords are required for home use.
